Thank you for stopping by here at Sligoamps. We build custom built tweed, blackface and the early British style amps at reasonable prices. All the amps you see listed can be upgraded with mercury magnetic transformers (the blackface models already have the mercury magnetic output trannys) the jtm superlead and the bluesbreaker can be upgraded with the merc mag radiospheres. The jtm and the supererlead also can have a master volume upgrade. All our amps come with weber speakers except the bluesbreaker that has the heritage 20 celestion. Most of the weber speakers are the signature style (except for the sligoverb that comes with the weber jbl d130 style 15 inch speaker ). We can also build you head units, if you prefer on all our amps. Keep in mind these amps are not kit amps although some of them start out that way. I go through the kits and throw away a lot of the cheaper components and I use all mallorry tone caps, switchcraft jacks and 2 % noise reduction carbon resisters. My favorite amp and as far as I?m concerned the best amp we offer is the sligo surfman which was designed by Eric at Viking amps. We put this piece together as a team effort (he is a genius, I just helped with this baby ) and what you get is a twin - bassman circut with tube reverb and a master volume. The standard Surfman comes with 4 weber alnico 125 a vintage style speakers and a mercury magnetic output transformer. What a deal for less than fifteen hundred dollars! All Sligoamps also have the optional tube upgrade. Just tell me what you like and we will get it in there at cost ( I recommend jj tubes ). The amps come stocked with the weber shuagang tubes, except for the Sligoverb and the Sligo Surfman that come with jj telsa tube. All my amps carry a two year warranty except for tubes and speakers.
